AMTC Seeks Volunteers for the Breeder Relations and Social Media. We strive for excellence in everything we do and have a deep understanding of the benefits of ownership of dog(s) bring to the community.
The Board of Directors seeks 2 qualified volunteers to fill a vacancy on the Breeder Relations Committee and the Social Media Committee. Individuals considering this role should be prepared to serve a three (3) year term commencing upon appointment of TBD upon filling position. The committee members typically meet monthly to advance the development of guidelines, programs, standards and policies relating too the breeders of purebred dogs and social media posts and content. Meetings are held virtually.
Applicants must be an AMTC member in good standing with the American Morkshire Terrier Club and possess a background relevant to owning or breeding, social media platforms, and/or knowledge and understanding of breed, health and well-being. Eligibility to serve as a member of the Breeder Relations Committee - a successful canine breeding program or past experience with a successful canine breeding program. Demonstration on a working knowledge and understanding of canine genetic issues. Genetic or veterinary background is an asset, but not required.
Eligibility to serve as a member of the Social Media Committee - too effectively and efficiently promote AMTC efforts, members, and relevant government information in a timely manner. Committee members are granted permission to and are encouraged to inform the community about the work of the committee as a conduit by use of social media subject(s) submission to AMTC for social media posts. All post submissions must be free of copyright restrictions that limit distribution.
